Hullo! My name is Shaina Cade. You can call me Shai (rhymes with Hey!) or just Cade. This site is my space to flail about the books I love, and the books I dislike, and the books that were so bad I harumph at and/or feel salty about their existence whenever we cross paths again. I’ll also just post whatever the hell I feel like. I’ve wanted to do this for a while. I work two jobs and often have a warbled mindscape, but I really hope to be hopeful // make some friends, motivate myself to read like I used to, and just have some fun rambling about B O O K S, bears, movies, and other happy-making things.
I work full-time at a library, which is the best. Being surrounded by books at work is, quite frankly, a life saver. I’ll be sharing great graphic novels, some of which I’ve discovered through the library book club I’m involved in, as well as five star picture books that I come across during check-in. If it has a bear on the cover, whatever it is, I’m 99% likely to read it. Rawr.
